Seeing the End
Visualization is a technique used by many people in order to help attain a goal. It’s a powerful form of scientific prayer when used correctly. A good example of what today is called the Law of Attraction. The best way to visualize, that I have found, is as follows:
Sit or lie down in a quiet place, where you will not be disturbed. Relax your body. I do this by imagining my toes relaxing, then my feet, and so on until I get my body into a state of total relaxation, or as Robert Monroe desrcibed, mind awake body asleep. If you’ve never done this, try it. You’ll know when you are getting good at it and have done it correctly.Next imagine the END RESULT of what you are wanting to accomplish. Don’t imagine or think about the steps to get there, or wonder how it’s going to happen. This is where faith comes in, the kind of faith Jesus and other biblical writers talked about. You focus on the end result. Feel the happiness and satisfaction of achieving your goal. Imagine people congratulating you on reaching your goal. And give thanks for the end result. Giving thanks is crucial. A thankful heart gets things done. The importance of gratitude cannot be stated enough.
After your session, prayer, meditation, whatever you choose to call it, just go about your daily business until you feel compelled to repeat the process. This could be several times a day or just once a day, but daily attention is important. And do not try to force or will what you want. God (or Creative Intelligence, Universal Intelligence, Higher Power and so on….whatever you choose to call the Source of all there is) knows how to achieve the goal. Let God be God. The image is eventually impressed upon the subconscious mind, which brings it into our physical life. This is God in action.
Just make sure you are “seeing the end” in your visualization.
